A 4.4 mile group run (all paces welcome) followed by a storytelling open mic! We’ll gather at the Grand Army Plaza Entrance of Prospect Park and jog one loop (all paces welcome ofc) then from the park, we will head over to Rodeo together an hour of live open mic storytelling!
The theme: tides
Some things arrive like a wave. Some things leave the same way. Maybe your story is about being pulled toward something you couldn't explain, drifting away from something you thought would last forever, or finding yourself back on a familiar shore. Tides are cycles, seasons, momentum, longing, distance, gravity…the ways life sometimes seems to carry us exactly where we need to go. Or the oppsite: finding ourselves caught in a riptide, at the mercy of powers out of our control. In those moments, we’ve had to surrender to the tides. Come on July 21 for a July jog and an evening of stories about tides.
