A 4.4 mile group run (all paces welcome) followed by a storytelling open mic! We’ll gather at the Grand Army Plaza Entrance of Prospect Park and jog one loop (all paces welcome ofc) then from the park, we will head over to Rodeo together an hour of live open mic storytelling!
The theme: loops.
in celebration of our long-awaited return to the prospect park loop, june’s run club theme is: loops. loops repeat themselves, sometimes infinitely. they’re the people, places, memories, and moments that keep finding their way back into our lives in the most unexpected ways. often, we only recognize the patterns in hindsight: coincidence, repetition, reconnection, the feeling that something is never truly gone. some loops need to be broken. others are the rhythm that keeps us moving forward. how’s that saying go? “the universe whispers until it screams, and happy people listen while the call is still quiet.” OR “lessons will be repeated until learned”. loops are life’s way of making sure we’re paying attention.loops remind us that life is constantly circling back on itself.
Don’t have a story? NO WORRIES. Come for the vibes! Listen to and experience the magic of live storytelling
